Why Is Javelina Tex-Mex NYC’s Hottest Restaurant Right Now?
While much of New York is currently obsessed with finding the latest expression of "authentic" Mexican food, Javelina is here to completely buck the trend. Billing itself as unabashedly Tex-Mex, the restaurant specializes in chile rellenos, enchiladas, chicken fried steak, and frozen margaritas. he restaurant is named after a wild pig and incase you don't know what they look like, the restaurant's mascot (Javier the Javelina) has been stuffed and mounted, and now watches over the bar. Paulaner: The Big, Bold Beer Hall on The Bowery
If you like the idea of drinking beer outdoor or at big tables - this is for you. Paulaner Brauhaus on the Bowery no only makes its own beer and only sells it has amazing food too. Rossopomodoro’s Great Pizza Now Available Outside of Italy (and Eataly)
You can take the pizzeria out of Eataly, but you can’t take Eataly out of the pizzeria. That’s why when Rossopomodoro, the international chain with 120 locations, including Eataly in Chicago and New York, opens its second Manhattan. The tasty menu includes everything from winter caprese salad to rigatoni with short-rib ragù. But pizza is the star, made with naturally leavened dough and baked in a gold-mosaic-tiled wood-burning oven. Hungry yet??? We are.

Stepping foor into the warm, cozy West Village restaurant, you may forget for a moment that you're in NYC. The menu is unusual, mainly Italian in many categories with creative flourishes. There's something for everyone, for every season from warm soups on cold winter nights, or light pastas tossed in fresh veggies for the warmer months.
Finger Lickin’ Delicious Pies-n-Thighs Arrives In Lower East Side
YES! Pies ‘n’ Thighs, the Williamsburg staple known for tantalizing pies, fried chicken, and donuts, just crossed the bridge and opened its first Manhattan location. Aptly set in the Lower East Side, Pies ‘n’ Thighs has a clean but rustic American feel, very nostalgic, and little bit diner-y. The food is as epic for breakfast and lunch as it is for dinner, but it shines during brunch. Hopefully it eases weekend waits in the notoriously brunch-friendly area, but chances are they’ll all just stay just as packed. Forever.
